About the role
As a Driver, you will pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to professional customers while building and maintaining strong relationships. You’ll also assist in upselling products, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking inventory, and engaging with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend solutions.
Responsibilities
- Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to professional customers
- Pick up returns and cores
- Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
- Daily collection of credit accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, providing insights to the CPP
- Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
- Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot
- General stocking, including truck stocking, back stock, and cycle counts
- Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
- Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills with customers, peers, and leadership
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Willingness to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
- Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques

Pay
The good faith estimate for this role is between $12.77 USD and $13.21 USD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered depends on geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other relevant skillsets, including shift differential (if applicable).
