Store Driver
Responsibilities
- Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to professional customers
- Pick up returns and cores
- Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
- Daily collection of credit accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, providing insights to the CPP
- Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
- Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot
- General stocking, including truck stocking, back stock, and cycle counts
- Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
- Engage with walk-in customers, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate parts or services
- Other duties as assigned

Essential Skills
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively with customers, peers, and leadership
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Perform basic math accurately: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to work a variety of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
- Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques
Qualifications
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Physical Demands
The employee will predominantly be walking or standing. They must be able to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 100 pounds with assistance are required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The employee usually works inside but will occasionally be outside, exposed to various weather conditions. They may also be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. The noise level is typically moderate.
