Store Counter Sales (Part Time)

About the role

We are seeking talented individuals to join our NAPA family. As a NAPA Counter Sales Associate, you will be the face of our retail stores, providing exceptional customer service and answering automotive-related questions.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for both retail and wholesale customers
• Assist other NAPA team members in answering customer questions
• Engage customers to provide a positive consumer experience
• Use technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers

Qualifications

• Gain parts experience by working in the automotive industry or through car/truck repair
• Willingness to learn all things automotive
• Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision
• Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems (a plus)
• Customer-centric (external/internal)
• ASE Certifications (optional but preferred)

Pay

This position offers an hourly pay of $20.25. Pay progression is possible within 12 months of hire.
