Store Associate - Part Time

Position Overview

Join our team as a Retail Store Associate, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store and delivering exceptional customer service. Your duties include restocking shelves, slicing deli meats, receiving products, assisting customers, and processing transactions, all while maintaining a clean and inviting environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly assistance to customers, fostering a sense of community.
• Maintain proper store conditions through stocking, cleaning, and product rotation.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation in accordance with regulations.
• Operate and maintain store equipment properly.
• Collaborate across departments and support various roles such as cashier, deli, produce, bakery, floral, grocery, dairy, and utility clerks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of retail store operations is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail, courteous customer service, and ability to read and learn product information.
• Physical abilities include standing, reaching, lifting up to 80 lbs, and operating various kitchen and store equipment.
• Some retail experience preferred.

Shift & Environment

First shift in a grocery store environment, with temperatures ranging from 50°F to 90°F. This part-time role offers potential for full-time opportunities, with availability based on store needs and interview outcomes.
