Store Associate - Overnight

About the role

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, shaping the future of health care for people, businesses, and communities. In this high‑impact, customer‑focused position you will work both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues.
• Give a warm and friendly greeting, maintain eye contact, and offer help locating additional items when needed.
• Accurately perform cashier duties—including handling cash, checks, and credit‑card transactions—while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory‑management tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments (including photo and beauty), ensuring they are fully stocked, operational, and current with updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth and career‑development opportunities.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

Required Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods.
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lb occasionally, up to 10 lb frequently, and negligible force regularly, including overhead lifting.
• Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts/details.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer‑service setting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 – $22.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
