About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health plays a significant role in shaping a more connected, convenient, and compassionate health experience. You'll provide differentiated customer service, focus on the customer, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, maintain the sales floor, and support various departments.
Responsibilities
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
- Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items.
- Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information.
- Support opening and closing store activities, when needed.
- Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development.
- Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.
Requirements
- Physical Requirements: Standing for sustained periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly.
- Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required.

Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 - $15.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
