The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide differentiated customer service, focusing on the customer, and supporting various departments within the store.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and care
- Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed
- Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
- Avoid and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the purpose of helping people on their path to better health
Requirements
- Physical requirements: remaining upright on the feet, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
- Visual acuity: having close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details
Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
Skills
Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting is preferred but not required.
