The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll have the chance to work independently and as part of a team, positively impacting the lives of customers through various departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer with a warm greeting, eye contact, and assistance with locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Offer customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel as needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the mission of helping people on their path to better health.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
• Close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required
