Store Associate
About the role
The Retail Store Associate position plays a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. You'll provide differentiated customer service, focus on the customer, handle cashier duties accurately, maintain the sales floor, support store activities, assist other departments, and advocate for new CVS services.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate customer needs and demonstrate compassion in all interactions
- Maintain eye contact and offer help locating additional items
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision
- Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing information, and complete inventory management tasks
- Support opening and closing store activities
- Provide customer support to departments like photo and beauty
- Avoid stockouts and ensure departments are fully stocked and operational
- Work regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development
- Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
- Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
- Close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 - $22.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
