About the role
The Retail Store Associate position plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service in a retail setting. This role focuses on supporting the overall health and convenience needs of customers through various departments including photo and beauty.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and meet customer needs with a warm and friendly greeting
- Locate and assist customers with additional items as needed
- Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed
- Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
- Advocate for and assist with new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Physical requirements: remaining upright on the feet, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
- Visual acuity: close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills
Customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

Pay
