About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide differentiated customer service, focus on the customer, and perform cashier duties accurately. This role requires maintaining the sales floor, supporting store activities, and assisting various departments.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with warmth and empathy
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision
- Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and manage inventory
- Provide customer support across different departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Work in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
- Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Physical requirements: remaining upright on the feet, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
- Visual acuity for close work, including viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting

Pay
