About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You will work closely with customers, supporting various departments, and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain a positive and welcoming demeanor, greeting customers warmly and offering assistance as needed
- Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and manage inventory under the direction of the store manager
- Support store operations by assisting with opening and closing activities
- Assist in the photo and beauty departments, ensuring stock levels and service updates are current
- Work in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
- Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Physical requirements: standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, negligible force regularly
- Visual acuity necessary for tasks such as viewing computer terminals, reading, and inspecting small parts
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience

Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $16.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, and location.
