Store Associate

About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You will work independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of customers, businesses, and communities.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and care
• Perform cashier duties accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel as needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our mission of helping people on their path to better health

Requirements

• Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts of force regularly
• Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to handle cash transactions, and teamwork are essential.

Pay
