About the role
The Retail Store Associate position plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service in a retail setting. This role focuses on supporting various departments, managing inventory, and assisting with pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and care
- Perform cashier duties accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Restock shelves, check in vendors, and update pricing information as directed
- Support opening and closing store activities, when needed
- Provide customer support across different departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
- Advocate for and assist with new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly
- Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts
Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
Skills
Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong organizational abilities are essential.

Pay
