Store Associate
About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments and assisting in the pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and care
- Perform cashier duties accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and manage inventory
- Support store operations by opening and closing the store as needed
- Provide customer support across different departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Work in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
- Avoid and resolve potential service issues proactively
Requirements
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Skills
Customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.
