The Retail Store Associate position plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service in a leading retail setting. This role involves working independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and meet customer needs through warm and friendly greetings, helpful product recommendations, and prompt assistance.
- Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and managing inventory tasks.
- Support opening and closing store activities, including assisting with security and safety protocols.
- Provide customer support across various departments, ensuring all products are fully stocked and operational.
- Work regular shifts in the pharmacy to gain experience and advance career development opportunities.
- Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs that align with the company's mission of helping people on their path to better health.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Physical requirements: remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly.
- Visual acuity: having close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections involving small parts/details.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills
While not required, previous experience in a retail or customer service setting is preferred.

Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $17.13 - $24.13 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
