Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
- Aid customers in finding products and offer recommendations based on their needs.
- Handle customer inquiries, both retail and custom, and provide information about products, services, and promotions.
- Manage customer complaints or concerns and escalate as necessary.
- Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Engage with customers to promote and sell products.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and highlight features and benefits.
- Use effective sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell products.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall store revenue.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Aid in merchandising activities, including stocking shelves, organizing displays, and arranging products.
- Maintain a clean and well-presented store environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisors of any stock shortages or excesses.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash register reconciliation, security checks, and store cleanliness.
- Follow store policies and procedures, including handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to ensure smooth operations and effective teamwork.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Adhere to company guidelines and regulations, including dress code and code of conduct.
- Effectively and efficiently review and ship online orders daily.
- Complete Sales Associate Lessonly Training to have a base understanding of the custom printing side of the business.
- Become familiar with the Core Samples in store and on our website.
- Assist customers in creating quotes and placing custom orders in the absence of a Sales Manager.
- Provide assistance to the Sales Manager with gathering leads, interacting with quotes, and other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Show up to work and create a positive work environment for customers and other team members.
- Complete the daily checklist to ensure cleanliness and smooth operations of the store.
- Be actively involved in campus activities.
- Have excellent marketing and communication skills.
- Have advanced organizational skills.
- Be proficient with PC, specifically with MS Office Suite, Gmail, and Google documents.
- Have sales and customer service experience (preferred).
