Store Assistant Manager

Store 2709908: 3650 S Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, Florida 33629. Full time with flexible shift availability (days, evenings, overnights, and weekends).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with oversight of Stationstore operations, including hiring, supervising, and working with staff to accomplish daily tasks, bookkeeping, and merchandising.
• Maintain high standards and provide fast, friendly service to customers.
• Ensure regular and predictable onsite attendance.
• Execute the food program to set standards.
• Set an example for staff by demonstrating urgency, patience, and leadership in customer interactions.
• Lead a team of employees and management, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, delegation, follow-up, teaching, and motivating others.
• Plan, organize, and communicate ideas effectively.
• Handle cash, bookkeeping, and problem-solving.
• Advocate for and empathize with customers while ensuring safety and security.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

• Retail experience.
• Supervisor or management experience.
• Recruiting, hiring, and interviewing skills.
• Experience handling food.
• High school or college degree(s).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
• Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift.
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
• Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
• Bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour per shift.
• Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination.
• May require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs.
