Summary

To determine consumer interest through personal interaction and assess pets' needs to generate sales by educating on the features and benefits of the Redbarn Pet product line; recommend formulas based on consumer input.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of Redbarn Pet products.
• Generate brand awareness and positive product impressions to increase sales.
• Properly communicate material and sample needs prior to events.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned tasks.
• Aid and communicate with local Redbarn Account Manager.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with store personnel.
• Complete all reports as per company policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Report to work at assigned shift times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three months related experience or training.
• Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions and correspondence.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire and ability to proactively engage consumers in a positive manner.
• Organized, responsible, and dependable.
• Ability to use internet, navigate company systems, and use Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stand for 4 hours at a time and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable transportation within a 2-hour radius of Tacoma, WA.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

The work environment is usually moderate in noise level. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Occasional lifting and moving up to 25 pounds is required.
