Storage Sourcing Lead
Job Purpose and Impact
The Warehouse Sourcing Lead develops and executes sourcing strategies for warehousing and storage services, leading complex RFPs, supplier selection processes, and contract negotiations to optimize cost, service, capacity, and risk. This role partners with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to drive warehouse network optimization, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable value and support business objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead end-to-end contract negotiations with logistics and warehousing providers, including terms, SLAs, and commercial structures to optimize cost, risk, and performance.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for storage to drive total cost of ownership and service improvements.
- Analyze logistics and warehousing operations to identify and implement cost savings and process efficiencies.
- Optimize warehouse network footprint to ensure the right locations and capacity to meet customer and business needs at lowest cost.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to align logistics strategies with production, inventory, and service requirements.
- Manage vendor performance through KPIs, reviews, and corrective actions to ensure cost and service expectations are met.
- Drive continuous improvement across warehouse operations to improve efficiency, cost, and service levels.
- Maintain transportation and logistics data (contracts, rates, systems) to support accurate and effective decision-making.
- Provide thought leadership and strategic direction, independently identifying issues and guiding solutions.
- Mentor team members and support strategic projects and sourcing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, minimum of four years of related work experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading an RFP and contract negotiations, demonstrated ability to manage supplier performance reviews, proven experience collaborating cross-functionally with operations and manufacturing, knowledge of warehouse optimization and transportation network analysis and performance measurement, experience leading process improvement projects.

The expected salary for this position is $87,000 - $128,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
