About the role
The Project Manager is responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, supervision, and implementation of projects related to the customers’ objectives. Responsibilities include proactively identifying project risks and mitigation strategies, building, maintaining, and tracking project schedules, and capturing, categorizing, and resolving project issues.
Responsibilities
- Exceptional communication with all stakeholders, external and internal
- Oversee project progression from inception to completion, including permits, material delivery, contracting, and managing subcontractors
- Understand project scope and complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain installation schedules and coordinate task scheduling with other trades
- Troubleshoot project issues and engage appropriate resources to mitigate impacts
- Plan and schedule engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities of assigned projects
- Manage multiple small to large-scale projects simultaneously across the Southeast without supervision
- Manage project budget and project profitability
- Manage and execute project change orders
Requirements
- Must have 5+ years of security and project management experience
- Ability to engage with all levels of management
- Technically inclined with good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work under little supervision
- Eager to learn
- Experience in the construction field and security industry
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint)
- Strong technical knowledge of relevant technology and tools, e.g., access control, video surveillance, and intrusion
- Experience in LenelS2 and Milestone preferred
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking
