BAE Systems is looking to hire a 2nd shift Space Stockroom Associate on our Space Electronics Manufacturing team in Endicott, New York.

About the role

As a stockroom associate, you will support the THAAD circuit card production area by kitting jobs for the assembly team, issuing replacement parts to the floor, participating in cycle counting, and receiving material. The material handled includes parts in tape and reel used on our automated SMT line as well as individual piece parts used during hand assembly. You will handle all types of material, including moisture sensitive, ESD (electrostatic discharge) sensitive, and hardware. Using BAE’s ERP/MRP System, Oracle, is integral to performing these tasks. The stockroom is in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment located within the Space Assembly area.

Responsibilities

  • Kit jobs for the assembly team
  • Issue replacement parts to the production floor
  • Participate in cycle counting
  • Receive incoming material
  • Handle tape-and-reel parts for the automated SMT line and individual piece parts for hand assembly
  • Manage moisture-sensitive, ESD-sensitive, and hardware materials
  • Use Oracle ERP/MRP system to perform all stockroom tasks

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work 2nd Shift
  • Excellent attention to detail and good organization skills
  • Proficiency with computers and their applications
  • Ability to work as part of a team, prioritize effectively, and balance multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a stockroom, inventory, warehouse/supplier, post office (UPS or FedEx), shipping and receiving, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $38,041 – $60,865. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
