About the role

Job Title: Stock Handler
Length of Assignment: Long term
Primary location of assignment: Petersburg VA
Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor
Local Candidates only
4x10 schedule, 06:00 to 16:30 Monday - Thursday

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload stock: Accept deliveries, inspect items for damage, and verify quantities against purchase orders or invoices
• Inventory management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, perform regular counts, and update inventory systems
• Stock organization: Place items on shelves, racks, or storage areas in a systematic order for easy access and retrieval
• Order preparation: Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment or internal distribution
• Equipment operation: Use forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment safely
• Workplace maintenance: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Qualifications / Skills

• Entry Level
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Inventory Management
• MS Office Suite
• SAP Software Experience

Pay

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.00 - $32.00.
