Stocker - Part-time

This role involves organizing and stocking food display areas according to store layouts, ensuring proper handling, rotation, and merchandising of food products, including temperature checks and quality control. Responsibilities include breaking down pallets, processing food items, maintaining organized back stock and cooler areas, and ensuring products are correctly placed for easy customer access. Candidate must support promotional activities, stock shelves, assist customer service, and maintain store cleanliness. Effective communication with management, vendors, and team members is essential, along with providing excellent customer service and suggestive selling to meet sales goals. Cross-training across departments and flexibility during busy times are encouraged. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED preferred, ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs, stand for long periods, operate equipment such as pallet jacks and lifts, and possess or acquire a food handling license. Skills required include strong communication, ability to follow instructions, and basic math. Prior retail or stock experience is preferred but not mandatory. The role requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on safety and sanitation standards.
