Responsibilities
- Maintain high productivity, efficiency, and customer service standards (non-supervisory role).
- Ensure customer service goals are continuously met.
- Formulate and enforce picking goals for each warehouse area/zone.
- Ensure dock-to-stock processing for most lines within 72 hours.
- Develop and implement procedures for unloading vendor orders and stocking shelves.
- Efficiently load/unload trucks/trailers to support goods movement and sales objectives.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and outbound teams to enhance customer service via delivery vehicles.
- Check in and post orders from hubs and vendors.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist parts pullers in locating/identifying parts.
- Handle damaged deliveries, report issues to shippers/vendors, and coordinate replacements.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance (DOT/OSHA).
- Maintain 5S warehouse principles and manage carrier/local delivery relationships.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience as a Stock Manager.
- Expertise in supply chain, logistics, and time-sensitive distribution.
- Experience with WMS/inventory management systems, RF technology, and conveyor systems.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic order flow fluctuations.
- Self-starter with proactive problem-solving skills for production delays.
- Experience tracking metrics, including inbound/outbound productivity KPIs.
- Knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
- Forklift, Hazmat, and OSHA certifications preferred.
- Clean/valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for up to 10 hours, and perform physical tasks (squatting, bending, climbing stairs).
- Ability to operate powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker).
- Maintain workplace safety and handle cash/assets securely.
