About the role
The Stock Keeper 2 is responsible for ensuring proper materials are available to the assigned departments while maintaining accurate inventory transactions via scanning equipment. Accurately load trucks and receive material and complete required paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload tractor trailers for receiving and shipping purposes.
- Perform shipment audits.
- Have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ensure materials are correctly staged/shipped and all paperwork is correctly written to coordinate transactions.
- Clearly label all cartons and accurately record part numbers, quantities, and number of cartons required for each customer number.
- Determine appropriate packaging methods to ensure protection from shipping damage, load distribution, and stability, load trucks per packing list.
- Operate overhead crane, weight counting scales, and other shipping equipment.
- Requisition and maintain adequate inventory of supplies including cartons, banding materials, tape, forms, etc.
- Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.
- Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual.
- Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
- Forklift experienced and prior licensing required.
- 3 – 5 years shipping or warehouse experience.
- Ability to use computers and perform alphanumeric data entry.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability interface with a diverse workforce.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally during an 8-hour shift.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.

Pay
Pay range: $23.72 USD to $25.55 USD per hour.
Schedule
Hours for this role are Monday-Friday 6 AM - 2:20 PM.
