Stock Handler I (Day Shift - T-F)

About the Role

The Stock Handler I is an entry-level position responsible for pulling, transferring, counting, organizing, and storing stock or parts in our warehouse departments. This role involves operating Power Industrial Truck (PIT) vehicles to route parts and finished goods, working closely with various manufacturing areas within the organization. Initially, tasks will be performed under the guidance of a trainer.

Responsibilities

• Gathers parts/stock according to department-specific processes, pulling and routing them to designated manufacturing areas safely, while maintaining quality and on-time delivery.
• Maintains organization and accuracy of the work area by following established procedures for staging in-process work, stock rotation, allocation of storage space, inventory transaction sequence in the ERP system, and area housekeeping.
• Pulls, monitors, and restocks specified parts using appropriate material handling techniques, including pallet jacks and PIT vehicles.
• Follows all safety guidelines to ensure no risk to self or others.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic math to accurately measure/calculate quantities of parts/stock.
• Ability to effectively identify part numbers and/or descriptions.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English, with the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to learn and operate various motorized material handling vehicles through our PIT training certification process.
• Capability to learn and effectively use our ERP system for accounting and transferring parts and stock.

Education and Experience

No previous warehouse experience required.
