Stock Clerk 2 - San Diego, CA

About the role

The position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. It is a 2nd Shift Stock Clerk 2 role based out of San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

• Receive/Induct various material into Stores
• Kit various material
• Transfer Material to various locations
• Scrap Material
• Conduct Cycle Counts
• Inventory Adjustment
• Contract Closeouts
• Wall to wall inventory
• Parts and material pick-up and delivery
• Job plan material kitting/staging

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience
• Valid State Driver’s License with no violations
• Experience positively interacting with all stakeholders
• Experience lifting up to 30 lbs on a regular basis
• Experience operating a 3-ton box truck
• Experience operating a forklift
• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance preferred
• Salumina experience preferred
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing / 6S preferred

Skills

• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
