About the role
The Expeditor position at Seven Feathers is a key role responsible for ensuring high-quality food service to guests. This includes inspecting food quality, organizing food deliveries, and communicating specials to staff.
Responsibilities
- Inspect the quality and presentation of food from the kitchen
- Organize food and assist in running of food to provide prompt service
- Review and consult with cooks on lunch, dinner specials and soup of the day
- Explain lunch, dinner specials and soup of the day to servers, cashiers, and bus people
- Inspect the quality and presentation of food before delivery to guests
- Absorb and organize food orders to ensure proper delivery sequence
- Assist food servers with plate preparation and completion
- Gather necessary condiments and other items
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- At least 18 years old
- One year of experience in a Fast Food / Restaurant environment
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
- Effective handling of multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and ability to work in various internal and external environments
- Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills
- Ability to maintain composure and make effective decisions under stress
- Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate
- Current OLCC License
- Ability to obtain a Class I Gaming License
- Neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate preferred, along with one year of experience in a fast food/restaurant environment. Must be 18 years of age or older.
