Steward | Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Steward with the efficient and effective running of the Steward Department.
- Execute company and hotel policies and procedures relating to the Stewarding Department, ensuring services meet established standards and budgetary controls.
- Ensure a high standard of sanitation throughout Stewarding areas.
- Take and calculate material stock (inventory) as required.
- Report breakages, cleaning supply consumption, etc., to the Executive Steward.
- In conjunction with the Executive Steward, establish standards of performance for the Stewarding Department.
- Maintain all equipment to a high standard, including dishwashers, burnishes, etc., and report any defects to maintenance.
Qualifications
- Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
- Spanish and English Language skills.
- Exposure to food items and beverages.
- 2-3 years prior stewarding experience.
- High School Diploma.
- Eligible to drive a company vehicle.
- Must have a NC drivers license.
- Able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Flexible in scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

The pay for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
