Job Purpose

Under general supervision, provides the restaurant and kitchen with clean and sanitary ware. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they've made the right choice to stay with us.

Responsibilities

• Operate dish equipment including dish machines, sinks, and cleaning tools
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, kitchen surfaces, and storage areas
• Receive and store deliveries; rotate stock properly
• Organize and store clean wares in correct locations
• Maintain trash and recycling areas; break down boxes and dispose of glass safely
• Assist servers with clearing tables or room‑service trays when needed
• Report maintenance issues promptly
• Support team and guests with friendly, professional communication

Requirements

• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards a plus
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (kitchen, freezer)
• Ability to use kitchen equipment safely (knives, mixers, etc.)
• Ability to push/pull carts up to 250 lbs
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks involving bending, squatting, and reaching
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and coworkers
• Passion for service and teamwork
• Strong communication skills
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Pay

Salary Range: $15.50 - $17.00/hr
