About the role

The instrument technician cleans, assembles, replaces, checks, and sterilizes instruments, hardware, and special supplies to meet the needs of the operating room staff and physicians. Able to teach new staff members. Expert in 4 surgical specialties instrumentation.

• Cleans, assembles, replaces, checks, and sterilizes instruments, hardware, and special supplies
• Teach new staff members
• Expert in 4 surgical specialties instrumentation
• Precept new staff

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Experience in sterilizing surgical instruments including decontamination and sterilization procedures
• Expert in 4 specialties
• Certified in instrument processing
