Sterile Processing Technician, Nights, Baptist Downtown

About the role

Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Sterile Processing Department at Baptist Jacksonville. This position is a Full-Time, Nights position.

Responsibilities

• Understand principles of sterilization.
• Wrap instruments/linen properly, while selecting correct supplies to be used for sterilization.
• Able to prioritize duties.
• Knowledge of sterilization equipment and processes they perform.
• Able to decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays.
• Experience Requirements:
• 1-2 years Instrument Experience
• 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience
• Linen Processing Experience
• Knowledge of regulatory protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).
• Certification Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) Required.

• This Sterile Processing Technician position will be located at Baptist Medical Center Downtown.
