Sterile Processing Technician II

Role Overview Responsible for maintaining standards in the assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing, and sterilization of surgical instruments. Performs sterilization, assembly, and storage of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Key Responsibilities Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and medical supplies.Collaborate with Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets, equipment, and case carts.Maintain workflow and deliver superior customer service. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED required.Graduate of a Central Sterile Tech program or equivalent 3 years of sterile processing experience.Certification as a Central Service Technician (CCST) or Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.
