This role is located in Virginia Beach, VA (Concert Drive) in the Production & Logistics department and is a full-time position with a schedule of Saturday-Sunday (5:45PM-6:30AM) and 2 weekdays (1:45PM-10:30PM). You will be required to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift, as well as wear personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will process all surgical equipment needed for production processing in accordance with defined standard operating procedures and governing standards. Your work will have purpose every single day, contributing directly to life-changing outcomes.
- Accurately inspects, prepares and packages all instrumentation and equipment for sterilization.
- Decontaminates all instrumentation and equipment effectively ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Stocks case carts to ensure all items are accounted for and available for processing and/or other departments as assigned.
- Processes and completes associated case cart documentation.
- Sterilizes all equipment ensuring the appropriate sterilization method is used and respective SOP followed.
- Operates Steam and EO sterilizers and accurately completes associated documentation.
- Participate in department continuous improvement initiatives, as assigned by management.
Requirements
The minimum requirements for this role include a High School or GED and being at least 18 years of age. Preferred experience includes CRCST Certification or equivalent and one year of work experience in a sterile processing environment or inspection role.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $18.00 hourly. Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience.
