Responsibilities

• Accurately inspects, prepares and packages all instrumentation and equipment for sterilization.
• Decontaminates all instrumentation and equipment effectively ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Stocks case carts to ensure all items are accounted for and available for processing and/or other departments as assigned.
• Processes and completes associated case cart documentation.
• Sterilizes all equipment ensuring the appropriate sterilization method is used and respective SOP followed.
• Operates Steam and EO sterilizers and accurately completes associated documentation.
• Participates in department continuous improvement initiatives, as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School or GED required
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
• Zero years of work experience is required
• One (1) year work experience in a sterile processing environment or inspection role preferred
• CRCST Certification or equivalent preferred

Pay

Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is a flat rate of $18.00 hourly (entry level).
