Sterile Processing Tech - Sterile Processing

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of surgical instruments using various software applications.
• Assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation.
• Delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts.
• Paring and replenishment of materials as needed.
• Collaboration with surgical partners to ensure accurate and complete provision of surgical instrumentation and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a formal Sterile Processing Technician course with field training or 1 year of experience as Sterile Processing Technician or Operating Technician.
• Required: Must be certified with IAHCSMM or CBSPD within 18 months.
• Preferred: Current certification through internationally recognized organizations such as IAHCSMM or Certification Board for Central Sterile Processing.

Pay

Salary range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
