Responsibilities
- Decontamination, correct assembly, and sterile processing of all instruments used in the operating room and ambulatory/specialty clinics
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory standards for universal precautions, sterilization methodologies, and regulatory standards for biological monitoring
- National Certification in Sterile Processing or equivalent
- One (1) year of previous job-related experience in Central Supply and/or Sterile Processing experience in a hospital or clinic setting (preferred)
