Compensation

This position may qualify for a sign‑on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform all task‑based sterile processing activities assigned during the shift, ensuring quality and accuracy of work produced.
• Report at the end of the shift on work performed and the status of the department.
• Comply with all department‑specific policies and procedures.
• Identify and report supply, equipment, and procedure problems to the central supply supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a formal Sterile Processing Technician course with field training.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or Operating Technician.
• Must obtain certification with IAHCSMM or CBSPD within 18 months of hire.
• Preferred: Current certification through internationally recognized organizations such as IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management) or the Certification Board for Central Sterile Processing.
