Operate all sterilizing equipment following regulation directives.
Assemble and maintain specific surgical instruments utilized throughout the facility.
Inventory and reorder instruments and supplies.
Perform all required quality assurance tests on equipment and maintains daily records.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM)
- Preferred. Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board Education for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
Education for Sterile Processing and Distribution
- Preferred. High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
- 40 hours a week | M-F | 7 AM - 3:30 PM | Rotating weekends and holidays when necessary
- Must obtain CRCST certification within 1 year.
