Sterile Processing Instrument Coordinator

About the role

This position is responsible for managing, planning, and tracking budgets, with a focus on accurate allocation and monitoring of instrument related expenses.

Responsibilities

• Manage and plan budgets for instrument related expenses
• Ensure accurate allocation and monitoring of budgeted funds
• Work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital, 1401 E State St.

Requirements

• High School Education or equivalent
• 5+ years of Sterile Processing and/or Surgical Technologist experience (preferred)
• Central Service Tech Certification and Instrument Specialist Certification (required within 18 months of employment)
• Current Central Service Tech Certification (IAHCCSMM or CBSPD)
• Preferred: Current Instrument Specialist Certification (IAHCCSMM or CBSPD)

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent
• 5+ years of Sterile Processing and/or Surgical Technologist experience (preferred)

Skills

• Experience in managing, planning, and tracking budgets
• Knowledge of instrument related expenses management
