Position Summary The Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician II independently performs sterile and hazardous drug batch compounding within a 503B outsourcing facility. This role executes complex aseptic operations, ensures batch documentation accuracy, and supports environmental monitoring and deviation investigations under the direction of the Compounding Pharmacist Key Responsibilities Independently compound sterile and hazardous drug batches per approved batch recordsHandle HD APIs and finished formulations in compliance with USP Verify materials, calculations, and batch setup prior to compoundingComplete batch records with full GDP compliance and inspection readinessParticipate in and support environmental monitoring, investigations, and corrective actionsIdentify and escalate deviations, EM excursions, or process risksSupport onboarding and hands-on training of Technician I staffMaintain aseptic technique and compliance during FDA and internal auditsSupport equipment cleaning, sanitization, and room readiness Qualifications Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentActive Pharmacy Technician registrationMinimum 2 - 4 years sterile compounding experienceDemonstrated competency in cGMP, USP and requirementsMedia fill and fingertip qualification in current cycle Preferred Qualifications CSPT certificationcGMP experienceExperience in FDA-registered 503B operationsFamiliarity with batch manufacturing scale operations
