Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare, weigh, mix and compound sterile pharmaceutical products using approved procedures
- Work within controlled cleanroom environments, including ISO 5 and ISO 7 areas
- Follow aseptic technique, USP , cGMP, FDA and internal quality requirements
- Operate and monitor compounding and filling equipment
- Complete batch records, manufacturing documentation and inventory records accurately
- Inspect materials, equipment and finished preparations to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow established cleaning procedures
- Manage product inventory, supplies and materials
- Work efficiently and accurately within production timelines and volume requirements
- Follow all standard operating procedures and safety requirements
Skills & Requirements
- Active Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing
- Hands on sterile compounding experience
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and cleanroom practices
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures
- Able to work accurately in a fast paced, highly regulated environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous 503B sterile compounding experience
- Experience within hospital, oncology, infusion or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of USP , USP , cGMP and FDA requirements
- PTCB certification
Compensation
$20 to $24 per hour, depending on experience
