Sterile Compound Technician - Permanent - Hoover, ALReady to grow your career in sterile compounding? Looking to join a thriving pharmaceutical operation and help deliver exceptional standards of quality and compliance.Proclinical is working alongside a growing sterile pharmaceutical operation in Birmingham, Alabama who are seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support the preparation of high quality compounded medications in a highly regulated cleanroom environment.Primary Responsibilities:This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy technician with hands on sterile compounding experience who wants to develop further within a structured, quality focused pharmaceutical setting. Candidates with hospital, infusion, oncology, 503A or 503B compounding experience are encouraged to apply. Skills & Requirements:Active Pharmacy Technician registration in good standingHands on sterile compounding experienceStrong knowledge of aseptic technique and cleanroom practicesHigh school diploma or GEDStrong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed proceduresAbility to work accurately in a fast paced, highly regulated environmentAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 poundsPreferred QualificationsPrevious 503B sterile compounding experienceExperience within hospital, oncology, infusion or pharmaceutical manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of USP <797>, USP <800>, cGMP and FDA requirementsPTCB certification The Sterile Compound Technician's responsibilities will be:Prepare, weigh, mix and compound sterile pharmaceutical products using approved proceduresWork within controlled cleanroom environments, including ISO 5 and ISO 7 areasFollow aseptic technique, USP <797>, cGMP, FDA and internal quality requirementsOperate and monitor compounding and filling equipmentComplete batch records, manufacturing documentation and inventory records accuratelyInspect materials, equipment and finished preparations to ensure quality standards are maintainedMaintain clean, organized work areas and follow established cleaning proceduresManage product inventory, supplies and materialsWork efficiently and accurately within production timelines and volume requirementsFollow all standard operating procedures and safety requirements Compensation:$20 to $24 per hour, depending on experience.Full time scheduleOpportunity to build experience within a growing sterile pharmaceutical organizationTraining and continued development providedCandidates who are precise, dependable and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality are encouraged to apply.
