About the role

The HF Steppers provide a unique way to demonstrate school spirit through synchronized hand clapping and footwork. Routines are designed to energize the audience during varsity basketball games and competitions. The group rehearses weekly throughout the year and hosts a Step Showcase in the fall to kick off the competitive season.

Responsibilities

• Rehearse weekly during the school year
• Perform at varsity basketball games
• Compete in various competitions within the state and nationally
• Host a Step Showcase in the fall

Requirements

Preferred qualifications include a Professional Educator License (PEL) as required by the State of Illinois.
