About the role

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) at Mission Hospital plays a vital part in delivering high quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the unit. They partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver care. They assist with admission and discharge processes, work with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service, provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement, and assist with staff scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
  • Aid in staff scheduling.

Requirements

  • One year of RN experience.
  • Preferred: Hospital nursing experience.
  • Required: Associate degree in nursing (ADN).
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN).
  • Required License: Current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Required Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
  • Preferred Certification: National Certification in area of specialty.

Qualifications

  • Required Education: Associate degree in nursing (ADN).
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN).
  • Required Experience: One year of RN experience.
  • Preferred Experience: Hospital nursing experience.
