STEP (Temporary) Registered Nurse $70/ Hour - ICU

Duties

• Completes assessment/reassessment of patient and documents in medical record.
• Analyzes the information collected to determine patient’s needs and expected outcomes.
• Develops and implements plan of care based upon the assessment, diagnosis, and expected outcomes of patient.
• Oversees the delegation of the plan to other licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Ensures a discharge plan is a part of the individualized plan of care as appropriate to the population served.
• Engages in patient/family/staff teaching to achieve the desired patient outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing required, BSN preferred.
• All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable.
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure- State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location within 90 days of hire required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support- IF working in an inpatient area in which ACLS is required within 90 days of hire required.
• 2 Years hospital based inpatient experience Required.
