STEM Technology Specialist, College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Dean, the STEM Information Technology Specialist provides support to CSTEM programs and faculty, particularly in Computer Science and Engineering. This role ensures the seamless operation, security, and innovation of CSTEM IT needs and resources, offering high-level technical support across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments. The specialist provides consultative assistance, training, and recommendations on emerging technologies to support teaching, research, and administrative functions, while partnering with campus IITS to meet STEM programs' and faculty research IT needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical support to faculty, staff, and students in Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
- Offer consultative assistance, training, and recommendations on emerging technologies that support teaching, research, and administrative functions.
- Partner with campus IITS to address STEM programs' IT needs and faculty research IT requirements.
- Ensure the efficient operation and evolution of the CSTEM technology ecosystem to meet academic and research demands.

Pay
Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,787 - $6,141 per month (Step 1 - 4). CSU classification salary range: $5,787 - $8,430 per month. Salary is commensurate with background and experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt position leading to permanent status following a probationary period. The role requires in-person work on campus.
