About the role
Full-time STEM and Special Education Teacher position at River Valley Education Center and St. Boni Education Center. This role is 8 hours a day for 185 contract days. The teacher will educate, plan, teach, facilitate, and evaluate students identified as having a disability, many of whom exhibit social, emotional, cognitive, and/or behavioral needs requiring significant support.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to students to increase their academic, social/behavioral, communication, and study skills under the direction of the teacher(s).
- Implement multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.
- Manage classroom effectively and build successful relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Collaborate with teams and communicate effectively.
Requirements
- Licensure in Math, Science, or Technology and Autism Spectrum Disorder or Emotional Behavior Disorders (District may consider Special Permissions).
- Experience with differentiated instruction and strong classroom management skills.
- Training in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) and Restrictive Procedures (provided by the District).

Pay
The pay range is $56,000–103,000 based on education and experience.
