STEM Instructor (NJ)

About the role

We seek experienced educators to join our instructor community. Applicants must demonstrate relevant teaching experience on their resumes. For those without formal teaching experience, a compelling cover letter explaining passion for teaching and potential success in an educational role is required.

Responsibilities

• Conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum for your class
• Create outcome-based lesson plans
• Specify the materials needed to run the course successfully
• Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!)
• Create a memorable experience for the children in your class to help them grow and develop a passion for Robotics
• Help children understand the importance of STEM and how it's helped shape you as a person

Requirements

Fun, enthusiastic, experienced STEM/Robotics instructor, with deep experience teaching school age children

Qualifications

• Able to create a positive class community and build relationships with students
• Experience leading your own classes
• Has excitement, joy and passion for teaching kids and personal development/learning
• Cooperative, supportive, flexible
• Has a strong work ethic and do whatever it takes mind set

Skills

• Strong work ethic
• Ability to create engaging and memorable experiences
• Knowledge of STEM and its applications
• Experience teaching robotics and STEM to children
